FAQS

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?

If you're coming for a relaxation massage, then you should simply expect to leave thoroughly relaxed. Relaxation massages are excellent stress-busters!

If you need a deep tissue massage, we'll chat about your immediate needs and cover any concerns you might have.

Ideally, massage should be a series of ongoing appointments because each massage builds on the progress made from the last one.

DO YOU HELP TREAT TERMINAL OR CHRONIC ILLNESS?

As long as your medical doctor(s) have authorized you to be treated by a massage therapist, massage can be an excellent solution or addition to prescribed treatments.

In our initial consultation, you'll need to thoroughly explain what illness you're struggling with and tell me what steps are being taken by your doctor(s) to help you.

Studies show that if pain is ignored, it will often worsen with time and can sometimes become irreversabile. Therefore, the best way to combat pain is to regularly see a massage therapist in order to stay as limber and pain-free as possible.

WILL YOU COME TO MY HOME OR OFFICE?

I absolutely will come to your office. However, I only come to the homes of established clients.

Please feel free to speak with me, in advance, so that we can agree on a time and location together.

ARE YOU REALLY A LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST?

Yes I am! Let me tell you why this is so important.

If you have a toothache, you obviously need to go to a dentist. You'd never dream of going to your next door neighbor and asking them to drill out that cavity!

Likewise, there is a significant skill set that licensed massage therapists have. We work hard for our certifications and I'm proud to say that I've been an LMT for over 18 years.  I'm licensed through the State of Florida (#MA52755), and this means I can give you the service you deserve.
